Personally, I do not care if people
buy aoc gold. There is, was, and always will be ways for people to turn leisure past times and turn them into a money making venture.
There are problems with it, sure. There are problems with everything in life, but we really should pick our battles. I played the Beta of WoW, and enjoyed the game for a while, back when it was "just another MMO" and while I won't knock the game, it IS a good game and has its market... after some time away from the game I reactivated my accounts and went to play. Was in game all of 5 minutes and was spammed by at least 5 different toons advertising their gold selling websites. That is absolutely ridiculous and should be put to a stop. I tried to play and chat with old friends, but was spending as much time filtering out names I did not wish to be harassed by as I was catching up with past acquaintances.

Cz, want to hear a funny? There are even gold sellers in Tabula Rasa, one of the easiest games to get gold. I swear the gold farming market must be ready for a collapse if they're farming that game, so the
aoc gold farmers are of *no* surprise to me. It's a matter of when that market implodes much like the US housing market.

AOC has a MASSIVE gold drain for setting up/sieging/defending bases. It's a gold sellers dream.
The guild leader could easily spend a few billion hiring mercenaries(for a few hours of base defense) once the game is underway for a while. Not to mention the potential if say your crafters have to say work in real life and aren't around for maintence and repairs of a base, you need someone to work on it before the week is up(you'll need lots of resources to boot which you could likely end up having to buy depending on resource spawns and who owns them).
The
aoc gold sellers dream if the economy is even half as borked as a normal MMO's economy.
